This is a eulogy for my beloved dad John Dennehy. He was born in Kilmallock Co-Limerick on May 17th 1952 to Michael and Mary Dennehy. He was one of 8 children, 5 sisters called Lena, Margaret, Mary, Bridget and Lily and 2 brothers Michael and Thomas. He worked with horses all his life except for a brief period when he first came to England. In 1982 he moved to Newmarket to resume his work with horses, he worked in several stables there including John Gosdens. He loved horses and everything they involved. After he passed away on 28th November 2004 aged 52 of heart disease, he was taken home to Kilmallock to be laid to rest with his much loved Mama and Dada. I miss him everyday and always will. He was a wonderful dad to myself John Jnr, my sisters Lorraine and Tara and my brother Thomas. Rest in peace dad till we see you again.

4th Anniversay
4 years have gone by in the blink of an eye John and it still doesn't seem possible that you are not here. Whenever I think of you I see you in Newmarket, even when I go home to Ireland I don't think of you resting there. Your girls have turned into lovely young women and Jay is a good lad as always, they miss you terribly. God bless John love Minnie x
